Citric Acid

What Can You Do With Citric Acid?

Citric Acid is a mild acid that is found naturally in citrus fruits like lemons, limes, and grapefruits. In addition to make tasty foods, citric acid effectively breaks down dirt and grime, making it an excellent cleaning agent.

You can use citric acid to clean kitchen surfaces, deodorize microwaves, clean windows and mirrors, sanitize kitchen utensils, and remove stains.

Goat Milk Powder

What Can You Do With Goat Milk Powder?

Goat Milk Soap Recipe:

  • 1 Cup of goat milk, frozen
  • ½ Cup of lye
  • ¾ Cup of olive oil
  • ¾ Cup coconut oil
  • ½ Cup palm oil

  1. Whisk ¼ cup of goat milk powder and 1 cup of water together to make your 1 cup of goat milk. Freeze the milk overnight.
  2. Once frozen, take it out of the freezer and add lye to the frozen milk. Stir the lye and milk together. The lye will melt the milk as you stir.
  3. After the lye and goat milk mixture is made, let it cool to about 100 degrees.
  4. While that is cooling, measure out your oils and heat them to about 100 degrees as well. You will want your coconut oil completely melted.
  5. Once all ingredients are at the temperature, mix it together in a large bowl using an electric mixer for about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Mix together until your spoon leaves a trace when you stir. When your soap leaves a trace, you can add your essential oils (if using them).
  7. Transfer the soap solution to your molds and cover with a towel for about 24 hours. Once your bars have hardened, allow them to dry and cure for about 3 weeks before using.
