Our pearls have a pleasant, chewy texture with more thickening power than instant tapioca. They are most commonly used to make tapioca pudding, but they’re also found in a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes around the world.
How To Use: Before adding to these large tapioca pearls to a recipe, soak for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight, in your refrigerator. Most pudding recipes call for soaking in milk. For a richer taste, we recommend using whole milk or cream flavored with vanilla. You can choose vanilla extract, vanilla paste, or a split and scraped vanilla bean. When cooking your soaked tapioca pearls, be sure to keep the heat low and stir frequently to prevent any sticking.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend refrigeration or freezing.
