Sweet and Spicy Roasted Yams

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Hoosier Hill Farm Honey Powder
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛-¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Step one: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and adjust oven rack to the center position. Line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

Step two: Peel sweet potatoes and dice into 1-inch cubes. Toss potatoes with honey powder, olive oil, and spices until evenly coated. Spread into a single layer on the parchment lined baking sheet.

Step three: Bake potatoes for 30-40 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork. Stir potatoes after 15 minutes for even cooking. If potatoes brown too quickly before they’re tender; cover loosely with foil. Enjoy!
