- 3 cups sugar
- 1 oz Hoosier Hill Fruit Pectin
- 4 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 ¾ cup strawberries
Step one: Wash and slice strawberries, remove hulls and green tops.
Step two: Pour sugar into a heated saucepan, add in strawberries and mash to desired consistency while cooking over medium heat.
Step three: Add in lemon juice and continue to heat until thickened.
Step four: Pour jam into warm jars and allow to cool prior to refrigeration or usage.
Step five: If you plan on keeping this strawberry jam over the course of a few months be sure you are following proper canning instructions, otherwise refrigerate and use quickly.
